I had a wonderful trip to Colorado this week. I left Friday night and arrived in Denver about 9. Kim and Mike picked me up and we went to eat and drink at Bar Louie. It was fun catching up and spending time with both of them. I don't see Mike as often as I would like to but I know he is a busy man! We headed to Estes Park the next day and dad had burgers on the grill and mom had baked beans in the oven. Granny was also there. We celebrated her 93rd birthday together. It was very nice. Over the next couple of days I was able to spend time with Granny which is very special and important to me. I have always been extremely close to her and I cherish every second I have with her. My parents and I were also able to have some much needed time together. We shopped downtown which was a blast. We also had a great Italian dinner one night followed by some my favorite Oregon Pinot Noir. I attended church at my dad's church. He did a very nice sermon and there was standing room only! I am very proud of him and the people love him....so do I! My mom and dad drove me back to Denver and Kim made chicken, potatoes and chocolate covered fruit for desert. Yum! So Mom, Dad and Kim thank you for an excellent visit!!
While I was gone Brian sold the Denali and got a new BMW 530I. It is pretty and fast! I can't wait till he goes out of town next weekend so I can drive it around town. I love the Volvo though..maybe we should race sometime:)
Looking forward to the weekend. We are meeting with friends tonight at Studio Movie Grill to see The Dark Knight. Not sure what is in store for the rest of the weekend...well except some pampering at Hollywood Nails and Spa....
Happy Friday!

Celebrating birthdays, friends and the 4th of July
We had a GREAT time this weekend. Mike's birthday was celebrated Thursday night downtown. The weather turned out to perfect and Mike seemed to have a blast. We met up with several friends including Robyn, Bryan, Mike, April, Mary, Jeff, and Jarrod.
Ok so we are lame too. Brian and I didn't miss a gym day the whole weekend! Wheww heww. The vodka was seeping out of my pores during my workout Friday but I stepped on .....(on the stair master that is).
Jarrod, Ricky, Bo, Brian and I went to Jeff and Mary's annual birthday/4th party. They played water volleyball and I watched....I know what a shocker. We then met up with Bryan and Robyn at our house for BBQ and drinks. Saturday we watched Nickel and Toby who are the most adorable miniature schnauzer's. R &B dropped them off in the morning and I can tell you that all 5 doggies were very tired by the end of the day. Brian and I went to see Hancock that evening. It was a awesome movie. It even kept my attention the whole time : )
B & I did a little mall shopping Sunday and after the gym, grilled shrimp and chicken and got caught up on some of the many DVR shows we have. The shows that continue to crack us up are Swingtown, Wipeout, The Soup, The Bachlorette, and our favorite American Gladiators. I LOVE THE WOLF!
I have to give a shout out to my mom who confronted a woman who was ugly to my dad this weekend. My dad had a flag shirt on for the 4th of July parade he puts together each year. The woman told my dad he was unpatriotic b/c of his shirt. That was her first mistake. The second was saying right in front of my mom. I know most all are biting their nails by now. She ripped the woman up and spit her out. GO MOM! I have no idea where I get my mild mannered temper from...hehe heheh. She just better be glad I wasn't there.
My sister also had her 10 year reunion in Estes Park this weekend. Kim and Mike's restaurant Jackson's Bar & Grill sponsored a dinner the first night and according to Kim she had the cutest shoes on of anyone...of coarse she did!!!
Bye bye for now.

Just logging in to say a quick hello. We had a very chill weekend. Brian and I hit the gym hard and then spent most of Sat. and Sunday by the pool. I enjoyed having some time to myself with him. Watched Spiderwick Chronicles and 10,000 B.C. Both were pretty good. This week is flying by for once. Looking forward to a long weekend. We are celebrating Mike Walker's birthday Thursday night downtown..uptown..whatever. Not sure the plan for the rest of the weekend but I am sure we will find something to get into. Also want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDI!! Brian's mom has a birthday on the 4th.
Happy 4th everyone!!!
